My wife donated the BWI funds to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. By donating, we help CAMH provide the highest possible level of research, prevention, education and care to create a better world for the one in four Canadians whose lives will be affected by mental illness and/or addiction. The stigma attached to mental health and addictions and limited public awareness of CAMH and its work has been a challenge to raising funds comparable to other Toronto hospitals. Every gift received is a victory in CAMH’s fight against the stigma.
